Are Some Dogs Born Bad
Dogs are not born bad, evil or aggressive. There are people out there that can teach dogs to be aggressive on purpose, but that actually takes someone that is very talented in the art of protection training, ( Military or Law Enforcement). I’m not talking about the thousands of individuals out there that fancy themselves K-9 Guard Dog Trainers.
What I would like to address is the notion that some puppies are born with inherited aggressive behaviors, that must of come from Satan herself. ( Ladies did ya smile ?)
The biggest problem that we will run into with dogs, “and this is kinda like our fault” is being nervous or uncomfortable around our dog if he does something we don’t understand. Now, I know a lot of us out there think we know dogs pretty good. But if the present animal you have is doing something that you either don’t know what it is or never had a dog do before, then we must admit that we really don’t have the experience we think we do with animals.
Just quickly (about dog trainers and dog / animal behaviorists) I’ve mentioned this before and I will continue to mention it until everybody is sick and tired of hearing it, too many dog professionals lack actual experience in dealing with most of the behavior problems their clients hire them to solve. What that means is, they never had their own personal dog or dogs do it . ( How to pick a dog trainer or behaviorist that can help you)
Back to the topic at hand, “NO” a dog or puppy cannot be born with any type of unnaturally abhorrent behavior that can even remotely be considered ” Bad, Evil, Aggressive, Worst Puppy I have Ever Seen, Kill The Demon Seed Puppy Before It Multiplies, or anything else that a dog “professional” may tell you.
The real point of me writing this is just because you may not understand a particular behavior your young puppy or dog is displaying, that doesn’t mean that your dog is inflected with any type of abnormal brain activity that will warrant the death of that dog.
