Just about everybody that has devoted their lives to rescuing and saving dogs lives. Knows the awful truth behind where pet shops and puppy stores, get their puppy dogs from, commercial breeding kennels.

Not all of these commercial breeding kennels will fall into the category of puppy mill breeders, but the number of substandard puppy breeding facilities sadly outnumber the quality commercial puppy breeders. Additional Notes = In 1993 Mrs. Kapsa had 120 dog seized by authorities. And authorities are in need of help in determining were 50 Pug puppies disappeared to before this most recent seizure.

Sadly stories like these go on and on. The real sad part is the puppy mills  that make it into the local news headlines are minuscule compared to the actual number of puppy mill breeders out there.

If you buy a puppy at a pet store, online or through your local newspaper, there is a better than 90% chance you are dealing with a puppy mill breeder.

They also know, if you do return the puppy that you are going to worry about, him. And you should. Dog Breeds, Different or all the same ?

Choosing a breed of dog, what should you use as a criteria.

I have talked about this before, but it’s so important, I’m going to give you some more information on the subject. If you remember, earlier I mentioned that it is a total waste of your valuable time, researching what breed of dog would be good for you.

Whether it’s a Maltese, German Shepherd, Pomeranian, Pit Bull, St. Bernard, Poodle or a Pug. At some point, you will have to deal with the same problems.

What you have to ask yourself is, when the problems do arise, ( and they will ). Do you want to have those problems, with a ten or fifteen pound dog, or a sixty, eighty or a hundred pound dog ?

So when you are thinking about getting a new puppy, Your number one criteria for choosing a breed of dog, should be SIZE not BREED.

If your buying a new dog. I really want you to read and please pay attention to the advice and information I have given you, in some earlier posts. It is very important that you understand and learn for yourself. That there are no differences what so ever, between the different breeds of dogs. The only difference is in the way they look.

They all think the same.

When you start having some issues with your dog, and your gonna. Because they all have issues, just like we all have issues. Would you rather have those issues, with a big dog or a little dog.

So what I really hope you do is think long and hard, about your decision to buy a puppy. The puppy you buy is only going to stay small another, seven to nine weeks. Before he starts getting big in a hurry.
