I Got a Housebreaking Question for You.

What is a potential problem you can run into, while using a crate or kennel for potty training a puppy?

There are some hints located in this category.

  1. “They sometimes treat the crate like a magician’s magic box.”
    That’s a good one!!

  2. Well, as you mentioned in your articles, the two big problems are the crate, or how it’s used, and the fact that the owners are just not around enough to take the pups out as often as they need to.

They sometimes treat the crate like a magician’s magic box. “See, if I keep him in here, he won’t go because dogs don’t go where they eat and sleep.” Unless, of course the crate is no bigger than they are and they’re in there all day long.

I like the pen idea, if people have the room. I guess anyway to isolate the pup until it’s reliable is good.
