I saw this, this morning on CNN’s Jack Cafferty Files http://caffertyfile.blogs.cnn.com/2009/04/30/has-swine-flu-story-been-overblown/ .
The article goes on to tell us that since January of this year 13,000 people in the United States have died due to complications from the seasonal flu. And that annually in the U.S., the regular flu kills 36,000 people a year and worldwide the regular flu kills approximately 250,000- 500,000.

As of 10:30 AM ET on April 30, 2009, CDC has confirmed 109 cases in 11 states:
- Arizona: 1
- California: 14
- Indiana: 1
- Kansas: 2
- Massachusetts: 2
- Michigan: 1
- Nevada: 1
- New York: 50
- Ohio: 1
- South Carolina: 10
- Texas: 26 (and 1 death)
