Dog Answers to Pop Quiz #1

The answer’s to the dog behavior question ; ” What are the three ways, dogs play with each other”, are ;

  1. Tug of war, or tug games.
  2. Play fighting, wrestling, rough housing, horsing around.
  3. Chasing or running after each other.

Those are the only three ways, a dog will play with another animal.

  1. Hi Jennifer

    For families with more than one dog, this is not an all to uncommon occurrence. We look at it as, the dogs grooming each other. But unlike cats that groom themselves on a regular basis and not necessarily each other. What our dogs are actually doing to each other, and some may find this a little disgusting. They just like the taste of whatever they are licking.

    Some folks like to teach, erroneously I might add that the licking of the mouth by a younger dog is an attempt to induce the older dog to regurgitate up some food. Even if that was true, in you guy’s case they would have it a little backward.

    You have a great night.

  2. I JUST WANTED TO KNOW WHY MY 10MONTH OLD SMALL DOG CLEANS MY 2MONTH OLD HUGE DOGS TEETH REALLY WELL EVERY NIGHT, WHILE OUR OTHER VERY SMALL DOG CLEANS THE BIG DOGS EARS AT THE SAME TIME?
