What your dog needs; attention, love and affection

Showing your dog love,  affection and attention

Your dogs Quality time, is you.

This is one of the most simplest and best things that we can do for our dog. And it’s one of the easiest things we can do, that can help us avoid some behavioral issues down the road.

Remember we have a life, but to our dog, we are his life.

Some of the things we can and should do for our dog are, every time we get back home spend a minute or two with your little guy. Touch him, pet him, talk to him. This may sound stupid but, ask him how his day was. And actually pay attention to him. Give him your undivided attention when you do this. Don’t talk to him half heatedly while your checking your mail or listening to your phone messages.

Your dog has been waiting around for you to get home all day long. Don’t disappoint him. Regardless of what you say to him. If you don’t use your heart and emotions when you talk to him, he’s gonna know.

So, please make a little special time for your guy. when you get home. And mean it. It will make us feel good, and will make him feel great!!

  1. Hi Jessica

We don’t feel wanted or loved, when someone ignores us. It’s the same with our dogs.

By the way, tell her Happy Birthday for me .

  2. i seem to have done this and it made me feel a lot better, because my dog got the attetion and i got the love back from her. Shes a sweet dog but at times can bite but this really works because if you come home and your dog has been home for a long time they want you to pet them!!!!!!!!!! thats all they really want!!!!!!!!!
I have a labrador retriever and she is 71/2 years old and she was breed before we got her she had 24 puppies but they were with someone else!!!!!!!!!!! And her b-day is October 12 thanks for letting me comment!!!!!!!!!! =)

  7. Great post. I especially found it useful where you stated that “We are his Life”. I have seen too many cases where people dont realize this simple fact.
Where else can you find so Much “Unconditional Love.”
    Keep up the Good work.
