Dog Behavior Myth; #2 by,

Your puppy will not go to the bathroom in his crate.

The Myth ; Because of your puppies denning instinct, he will not soil his crate.

The Truth ; Your puppy is a baby, he WILL relieve himself in his den/crate.

The Why : Puppies that are with their mommy, in the wild or in our home go to the bathroom in their den. In both instances, their mommy eats the poop. And the urine soaks into either the ground or whatever bedding material you use. When we bring the puppy home, now it becomes our responsibility to keep his den/crate clean.

If we have been getting this, wrong. All these years, what else are we getting wrong ??

You Have Yourself a Great Day.

The Spirit Dog
