These dog photos, will show our normal routine for socializing new dogs here at the spirit dog sanctuary. Little Bella Bear the brindle terrier mix was pretty comfortable meeting some of our other dogs. Even for the dogs that were described to us as having dog aggression problems, our introduction process is the same.

The phantom dog bite commonly is the result of a playful dog, that jumps up on a child or gets so excited that he scratches the child with his paw. It’s possible in both instances for child to say, “mommy the dog bit me”.

This technique is how I mentally rehabilitate, every single dog that comes into Spirit Animal sanctuary. This is not rocket science folks. Just get them happy by playing with them, they have lived a nervous and fearful life long enough.

Let me try to explain that a little differently. You can have ten people watching the same dog do something, and you will get different descriptions on what they saw. Not everybody sees the same thing.
