The Socializing of Nero

Nero is the brown brindle dog that you will see in the beginning of this video. His main issues for coming to spirit animal sanctuary were, he basically failed the important tests during his behavior evaluation.

When I socialize a dog here, I usually let them meet a couple of dogs first before they get to meet everybody. Some time this week I’ll try to get around to posting a quick video of the two dogs Nero, met first.

  1. Hi Tara,

That would be great if you can make it here. I’ll have a video of Zero in a couple of days for you.

  2. Hi Betty,

In a couple of days I’ll post a video of Bouncer having fun.

  3. Yup, the fake hand.

  4. Hi Bob,

I don’t know what Nero is suppose to be, his head looks to big for his body. That other dog you are talking about, I don’t know about part hyena but he’s definitely part idiot. lol

    BTW, his name is Bear.

  5. So great to see all the dogs hanging out and having a good time. Hoping to come visit in May or June to say hi to Zero, you, and the rest of the rowdy bunch! Fun! Thank you for sharing the video.

PS: I like the music, too!

  6. They all look so relaxed and at peace….Nero, Bouncer and all the rest are very lucky dogs!!

  7. What a fun place for a dog! They all look so relaxed.

Is Nero an amstaff, or amstaff mix? What a face on him, eh?

At around 39 seconds, the dog you put your hand in its mouth, looks part hyena! Neat markings on it.

    Bob

  8. When you say he failed the behavior evaluation, do you mean when they put the hand in the dish? What are the other tests they give?
